Set one-off, daily, weekly, weekday, monthly and yearly alarms. You can have the alarm pop up a window with a message, play one of three alart sounds or speak, and/or run a program.

Set alarms using the main-menu item, or using the options under events->alarms. The three alert sounds are configurable via miranda's options under events->sounds.

Alarms will be triggered (once) the next time you start miranda, if it was not running at the time(s) of the alarm. This feature can be disabled on a per-alarm basis.

It also contains an API (see m_alarms.h in the source) for other plugins to use - the API allows plugins to set alarms and react to the events which are sent when an alarm is triggered.

Compatible with the 'PopUp' plugin (http://miranda-im.org/download/details.php?action=viewfile&id=1170). The built in popup window contains a snooze button (snooze time is configurable in the options) - when using the popup module, right-click on the popup to snooze and left-click to dismiss. Unfortunately, using the PopUp plugin disables the 'loop alarm sound' option.

There is a reminder window showing upcoming alarms over the next few hours. This time period is configurable in the options. Using clist_mw or clist_modern makes this frame dockable. Use IcoLib (http://miranda-im.org/download/details.php?action=viewfile&id=1895) to change the reminder window icons. Use FontService (http://www.miranda-im.org/download/details.php?action=viewfile&id=2065) to change the font. Use the skinning features in clist_modern (http://miranda-im.org/download/details.php?action=viewfile&id=2103) to change the background. The frame can be set to show and hide in synch with the contact list, and/or automatically when alarms are due within the reminder time period.

You can also choose to have your computer speak the title of an alarm rather than using one of the alert sounds, if you have the Speak plugin installed:
